Cabinetry/Electrical

GSME specialises in quality cabinetry and accessories for all purposes and of any type, size or design; including electrical, traffic and infrastructure. We manufacture from stainless steel, aluminium, mild/galvanized steel and zintic as required and can custom make to your specifications or one can be ordered from our standard range of designs. We can also design and manufacture cabinetry to meet any Ingress Protection (IP) standard.

From enclosures, pillar/toby and montrose boxes to bases, gear/gland plates, mounting frames and switchboards, GSME can supply to your requirements in your choice of metal/finish.

Construction/Architectural

GSME regularly designs, manufactures and fabricates architectural elements and structures to suit custom requirements. From structural beams and plates through to decorative finishing elements, our facilities and experience allows us to complete to exacting specifications. With our facilities including a state-of-the-art laser cutter and turret puncher, this allows us to produce custom punched decorative patterns in various metals.

General Engineering

GSME are a general jobbing workshop with extensive experience in designing and manufacturing custom items to suit any requirement. Should you have a job that you are wanting to complete but are not too sure where to start, we are more than happy to offer advice and design assistance to suit your individual specification.

Infrastructure/Traffic

GSME have a wealth of experience in the manufacturing of a comprehensive range of structures from walkways, scaffolding and bridge components through to ladders, supports and flooring. We also specialise in the manufacturing of traffic management componentry to a superior standard with our welders also being ticketed for processing piping mains and structural mild steel.

Marine / Industrial

GSME has experience in completing a vast array of work on many differing types of marine vessels from naval and commercial vessels through to super yachts. We pride ourselves on being specialists in 316 and 2205 grade stainless steel, plate and structural work refurbishments, removals and relocations.

We have broad experience in copper nickel pipe work required for salt water systems, ducting, galley kitchens, fuel tanks, sea strainers, air intakes and exhausts, decking, lagging, cladding and suspended ceilings as well as decorative stainless steel and brass work, carbon and stainless steel pipe work all built to applicable standards and codes. With our welders also being ticketed in aluminium welding, this lends us the ability to be able to service all requirements.

Retail/Hospitality

GSME has extensive experience in the development of custom metal products and retail display fixtures, taking them from a basic idea through to production in short periods of time. We specialise in being able to offer a full service solution to your retail display needs from signage, displays/stands, shop fronts/trims, through to full supermarket internal fitouts including deli/seafood/butchery areas, ducting and extraction systems and indoor/outdoor furniture. GSME have the capability to manufacture exactly what you need when you need it.

Stainless Steel

GSME pride ourselves on being specialists in high quality stainless steel fabrication in plate, tube and sheet. Being experts in stainless steel manufacturing of all types and for all purposes from medical requirements, tanks, pipes and bench tops through to kick boards, letterboxes, racking and displays, our team are both highly skilled and motivated to produce top quality, flawless work.

CAD Design & 3D Modelling

At GSME, we use Solidworks 3D CAD software to assist in the creation, modification, analysis and optimization of our designs. With Solidworks, we can offer a complete engineered solution from initial conception through to implementation.

Our software allows us to provide accurate 2D drawings as well as 3D models if and when required. It also aids in efficient and cost effective nesting of production run parts.

We can offer a drawing service or “clean-up” of drawing files at competitive rates.

Site Work

The staff at GSME are extremely experienced and capable of on-site installations in a variety of situations and locations. From retail environments, marine vessels, construction, residential or civil work sites, we have staff members practiced and qualified to complete any required project with all being Site Safe accredited.

Welding

GSME have welders and welding equipment capable of welding aluminium, stainless steel, steel, copper or nickel. We also cater for the welding of special materials and have many welding procedures in plate for pipe, plate and marine.

Our premises include production welding facilities but we can also provide on-site welding facilities should this be required. We currently have welders who are ticketed for process piping of water mains.
