    About You:

    You will need:

    • No experience required.

    • Must be reliable, physically fit and healthy.

    • Committed to undertake studies, exams and to complete a trade certificate.

    • Self-motivated.

    • Interested in working with metal.

    • Must be a New Zealand citizen or resident.

    Hours:

    • 7.30am - 4pm, Monday to Friday

    • 7.30am - 12pm, Saturday

  • We are looking for sheetmetal Tradesmen for a range of challenging work which may include ship fitouts, navy work, superyachts, supermarkets, retail fit outs and more.

    Pay will reflect skills and experience.

    This role consists of welding/fabricating, assembling, installing and repairing metal products and equipment to drawings and instruction provided. An extremely broad range of work is on offer.

    To apply, you should:

    • be able to work independently

    • be able to work to specified time frames

    • be able to complete work to a very good standard

    • have experience in marine, stainless steel, heavy steel or general product welding/fabrication

    • be self-motivated and be a proactive problem solver

    • be able to remain focused and work quickly

    • be able to fabricate/weld to design drawings and instruction

    • have safety awareness and experience working safely

    • speak fluent English and understand spoken and written English
